LOGAN TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Nov. 15, 2025) – Senior
Luke Zwiesler (Colbert, Wash.) led the charge for the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy men's cross country team
on Saturday morning earning All-Region honors for the second straight season and guiding the Mariners to their highest Regional finish, placing ninth overall out of 26 teams with 267 points at the NCAA Division III Metro Region Championship Meet in Logan Township, N.J. The Blue and Gray had four runners who also posted personal bests at the meet.

Zwiesler led USMMA, crossing the finish line in 15th place and recording a new personal best in 25:14.4. Classmates Silas Glynn (Folsom, Calif.) and Casey Symons (Harrington Park, N.J.) both posted personal bests of their own with times of 26:08.8 and 26:27.4
Junior Pierce Murray (Meridian, Idaho) crossed in 27:21.9, just ahead of freshman Arjun Suresh (Plainsboro, N.J.), who registered a personal best with a time of 27:22.4. Classmate Cooper Johnson (Honolulu, Hawaii) rounded out the top six for KP in 27:34.4.
